- Long-Term Engagement: Secure a 15-month contract with the potential for extension.

Responsibilities
The Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for:

- Requirements Elicitation & Strategy: Leading and conducting Joint Requirements Planning (JRP) and Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions. Requirements development involving elicitation, elaboration, analysis, specification, and validation.

- Agile & Iterative Delivery: Demonstrating a proven ability to lead sprints. Experience with documenting user epics, stories, and themes, planning product backlog, and managing sprints in an iterative manner.

- Documentation & Governance:

- Ability to write high quality business cases, working with corporate governance bodies and navigating approvals.

- Expertise in documenting a wide range of deliverables: Functional and Non-functional requirements, Business Process Models, Data Requirements / Models (conceptual / logical), and Requirements Traceability Matrices.

- Creating artefacts required for enterprise architecture development (contextual and conceptual) as required for the Architecture Governance Point review process.

- Analysis & Modeling: Conducting feasibility analysis, project scoping, and providing project work estimates. Analyzing and mapping processes/data for current state and future state. Demonstrable experience with Business Object Oriented Modeling and UML tools and techniques.

- Technical Interface & Legacy Systems: Proven experience in investigating, analyzing, and estimating system applications in a large integrated mainframe and mid-tier environment. Experience with supporting legacy applications and transformation of solutions using COTS products such as Oracle Siebel.

- Support & Quality Assurance: Providing support during the design, implementation, and testing phases. Defining the integration test plan and user acceptance test plan. Reviewing test strategy, test plan, and cases, and managing defect logs.

- Stakeholder Management: Engaging business and IT stakeholders, providing high-level and detailed estimates, and demonstrating strong communication and facilitation skills for project reviews.

Qualifications
Must-Have Experience:
- 7+ years of experience providing business analysis services.

- Experience with engaging business and IT stakeholders, understanding requirements, and providing high level and detailed estimates.

- Ability to write high quality business cases, working with corporate governance bodies and navigating approvals.

- Extensive experience with documenting deliverables (Functional/Non-functional requirements, BPMs, Data Models, Traceability Matrices, Test Cases, etc.).

- Demonstrated experience with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and methodologies such as Agile methods with a proven ability to lead sprints.

- Experience with the Zachman framework, Public Sector Architecture Governance Points and deliverables.

- Proven experience in investigating, analyzing, and estimating system applications in a large integrated mainframe and mid-tier environment.

- Demonstrable experience with Business Object Oriented Modeling, UML tools and techniques.

Desired Skills (Assets):
- Experience with implementation of business solutions using Custom off the Shelf solution implementations such as Oracle Siebel.

- Experience with prototyping tools to deliver high quality prototypes and mock-ups.

- Experience with submitting and managing project collateral in repository tools such as PowerDesigner.

- Demonstrable knowledge of Public Sector Digital Service Standard and Digital assessment processes.
