- As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and scaling secure and high-performance backend systems for blockchain and crypto custody products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, security, finance, and engineering to deliver innovative solutions that meet client needs and maintain the highest standards of security. This position offers autonomy and the opportunity to take ownership of complex systems, architect modular infrastructures, and drive technical decisions in a fast-paced, innovative environment. You will contribute directly to the adoption and success of cutting-edge technologies in the digital asset ecosystem. Strong problem-solving skills, deep technical expertise, and a customer-focused mindset are essential for this role.
- Accountabilities
- Design, develop, and maintain secure backend systems for crypto wallets using Golang and related technologies.
- Architect modular and scalable infrastructures supporting multi-party computation (MPC) and multi-signature (multi-sig) protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize configurations, ensure security, and implement client-specific solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and support across business, product, security, finance, and engineering teams.
- Drive product enhancements by assessing opportunities and recommending robust backend solutions.
- Take ownership of delivering high-quality, secure systems, troubleshooting complex issues, and maintaining operational excellence.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in backend engineering, preferably with blockchain or crypto wallet products.
- Proven expertise in building secure, high-performance backend systems.
- Strong understanding of UTXO and Account models, state management, and consensus mechanisms.
- Solid knowledge of secure coding practices and security principles in blockchain systems.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Self-driven, independent mindset with extreme ownership and proactive problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Nice to have: experience with Golang, JavaScript, MPC protocols, advanced security testing, and solutions architecture.
- 💼 Competitive salary range: $159,000 to $199,000 USD (final offer may vary based on experience and location).
