GE Appliances is seeking a Senior Area Sales Manager (ASM) for Air & Water to lead regional sales efforts across British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan. This role is responsible for driving growth through both new and existing HVAC/R and Plumbing Wholesale Distributors. The ASM will manage the full customer experience, achieve sales budgets, and partner with third-party manufacturer representative firms to execute regional sales strategies. Position Senior Area Sales Manager- A&W- Western Canada Location Other Canada How You'll Create Possibilities Key Responsibilities: Sell the full portfolio of GE Appliances Air & Water products to national and regional distributors, as well as new and existing customers. Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the territory. Build and maintain strong relationships with mechanical contractors within the territory. Execute and achieve all sales and margin operating plans. Develop and implement customer-specific programs and marketing strategies to drive profitable sales. Deliver training and product presentations that communicate the GE Appliances Air & Water value proposition. Track sales metrics using available reporting and analysis tools and be accountable for results. Resolve customer issues promptly and accurately to maintain credibility. Manage regional Manufacturing Representatives effectively, ensuring they represent products correctly and achieve sales goals. What You'll Bring to Our Team Minimum Qualifications: Five (5) years of relevant sales experience. Experience in Plumbing or HVAC industry sales, vendor, or distributor environment. Proven ability to build long-lasting, credible relationships with customers, management, and peers. Strong communication, presentation, organizational, and negotiation skills. Ability and willingness to travel within the territory. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college. Experience developing and implementing sales territory growth plans.
