Role description: We are looking for an experienced Senior Architect to join our team in Toronto, working in support of current and future major healthcare projects across Canada. The ideal candidate will thrive in a team environment where cooperation, attention to details and good communication skills lead to proper execution of project design work. Role accountabilities: Direct the design development from initial concept through construction, ensuring alignment with client goals and regulatory standards. Act as the primary project coordinator across multiple disciplines, facilitating integrated and collaborative project delivery. Apply deep knowledge of building codes, accessibility standards, and design philosophies to ensure technical excellence and code compliance. Review and approve architectural drawings, construction details, and technical documentation for accuracy, constructability, and regulatory compliance. Contribute to business development activities, including proposal input, promoting firm capabilities, and supporting pursuit of new opportunities. Qualifications & Experience: Licensed Architect (OAA Member) with a minimum of 8-10 years of experience in designing and leading healthcare projects. Strong proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and BIM workflows preferred. Deep knowledge of building materials, structural integration, mechanical/electrical coordination, and construction methodologies. Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring junior staff and fostering technical excellence within a team. Strong presentation, communication, organizational and team building skills. Experience in the delivery of Alternate Procurement/P3 projects an asset. Business development experience is an asset, with the ability to contribute to firm growth through client relationships and project acquisition. Why Arcadis? The salary range for this position is CAD$95,900 - CAD$178,100. The base salary represents Arcadis' hiring range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as location, skills, experience, and qualification for the role. LI-PS1
