- How will you make an impact in this role?
- As part of the New Customer Acquisition Team, the Senior Analyst, Performance Marketing (Demand Generation) supports in driving profitable growth across our digital acquisition channels. This role supports the planning, execution, and optimization of paid media campaigns—including Social, Display, and Programmatic to deliver strong business results across Amex’s Consumer and Commercial product portfolios.
- You’ll partner closely with cross-functional teams and work with external agencies and platform partners to execute campaigns that drive forward our agenda of creative excellence, data-driven optimization, and test-and-learn. This role is ideal for a digitally savvy marketer who is highly analytical, collaborative, and passionate about uncovering creative and disruptive insights that power growth.

The successful candidate will be responsible for
- Campaign Execution: Support the end-to-end planning, implementation, and optimization of digital demand generation and acquisition campaigns across multiple channels, including Paid Search, Social, and Programmatic.
- Performance Optimization: Analyze performance data and provide actionable insights to maximize campaign efficiency and ROI. Develop and share optimization recommendations based on trends, testing, and attribution analysis.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams (Product, Brand, Legal, Compliance, and Analytics) and external agencies to ensure marketing activities align with brand and business objectives and ensure we adhere to strong governance and regulatory guidelines.
- Budget Management: Support the tracking and management of marketing budgets, ensuring accuracy in spend and pacing across multiple campaigns.
- Innovation & Testing: Maintain a strong pipeline of test-and-learn opportunities by identifying new tactics, channels, and messages to improve performance and scale acquisition.
- Reporting & Insights: Deliver regular campaign reports, performance summaries, and post-campaign analyses with recommendations for ongoing improvement.
- External Market Awareness: Monitor emerging media trends, platform updates, and competitor activity to ensure our marketing remains innovative and competitive.
- Minimum Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in digital marketing, performance marketing, or demand generation.
- Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting marketing data and performance metrics.
- Experience managing or supporting multi-channel campaigns (Search, Social, Programmatic, Display, etc.).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and campaign management tools.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Salesforce, Google Ads, SA360/DV360, Meta Ads Manager, or programmatic DSPs.
- Experience in B2B or financial services marketing.
- Hands-on experience working with creative and media buying agency partners.
- Familiarity with A/B testing, attribution, creative optimization, and audience targeting strategies.
