As we expand, we are seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help us build our sales pipeline and generate qualified leads. 📌 Job Overview: We are looking for an experienced, results-driven SDR with logistics or freight brokerage experience to: Identify and qualify new business opportunities, Generate leads, Set appointments for our sales team with shippers and supply chain managers across North America. 🛠️ Responsibilities: Research and prospect potential clients (shippers, manufacturers, distributors, etc.) Cold call and email prospects to introduce our freight brokerage services Qualify leads based on shipping needs, volume, and region Set appointments or demos for our account executives or sales manager Maintain accurate records of outreach and lead status in CRM tools Collaborate with internal teams (operations, sales, and marketing) to improve outreach strategy Meet weekly/monthly KPIs for outreach, qualified leads, and appointments ✅ Requirements: Proven experience as an SDR, lead generator, or inside sales rep — ideally in freight, logistics, or transportation Excellent spoken and written English (North American market) Strong cold-calling, email outreach, and objection-handling skills Familiarity with CRMs like HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce, or similar Understanding of FTL/LTL freight, lanes, and common shipper challenges (a strong plus) Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented Able to work during North American business hours 🎯 Bonus Points For: Existing contact list or familiarity with North American shippers Experience booking appointments for freight brokerages or 3PLs Knowledge of freight technology platforms (DAT, Loadlink, Truckstop, etc.) 💼 Engagement Details: Type: Freelance (with potential for long-term contract) Hours: Part-time or full-time (flexible for the right candidate) Time Zone: Must overlap with EST or CST working hours Compensation: Hourly + performance bonuses (based on qualified leads or appointments) 📩 How to Apply: Please apply with: A short cover letter explaining your experience in freight/logistics sales Voice recording (optional, but preferred) Your availability and time zone Any relevant metrics (e.g., average appointments/week in past roles)
