- Job Description
- Under the responsibility of the Site Director, the Scale and Transport Clerk plays an essential role in the department’s operations. They support the team in administrative tasks, planning, transportation, and customer service.
- What You Will Be Responsible For
- • Performing opening and closing of daily operations
- • Greeting customers courteously while following our procedures and requirements
- • Directing customers on site
- • Answering phone calls and redirect them as needed
- • Informing customers of current metal prices
- • Weighing material
- • Creating delivery slips in the RECY software
- • Paying customers
- • Preparing shipping documents
- • Ensuring follow-up on material shipments
- • Balancing the cash register at the end of the day
- • Communicating relevant information to the receiver
- • Handling truck dispatching
- • Producing reports
- • Performing any other related tasks
- Qualifications
To join our team
- • You have at least one year of customer service experience
- • You have experience in the transportation field (an asset)
- • You have good knowledge of Excel
- • You enjoy working safely
- • You are meticulous, responsible, and resourceful
- • You are rigorous and have good communication skills
- • You are good at mental math
