About
We are seeking a highly experienced SAP Functional Consulting Specialist with a focus on Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P). This role is central to a major business transformation, transitioning from legacy SAP WM to a greenfield SAP S/4HANA EWM implementation.
Duration: 6 months contract

- High-Impact Project: Lead a critical "greenfield" modernization of warehouse and financial systems.
- Hybrid Flexibility: Enjoy a hybrid work model (3 days onsite in Etobicoke, 2 days remote).
- Strategic Role: Directly influence the transformation of supply chain and logistics for a major government jurisdiction.
- Potential for Extension: Initial 6-month contract with a strong possibility of a 6-month extension.
Responsibilities
- Process Optimization: Analyze business processes to identify improvements using standard SAP functionality and align the "To-Be" solution with SAP Best Practices.
- Requirements & Design: Document business requirements, user stories, and functional specifications for development objects. Lead P2P workshops to gather critical insights.
...
- System Integration: Document S/4HANA linkages and integrations between SAP Ariba, MM, and FI, specifically focusing on the migration from legacy WM to EWM.
- Configuration Support: Assist in configuring purchasing document types, movement types, inbound delivery processing, warehouse receiving strategies, and putaway/quality inspection workflows.
- Testing & Quality: Develop test scripts and cases, execute tests, manage defect resolution, and support multiple cycles (Unit, SIT, UAT, Regression, and Performance).
- Implementation Support: Participate in all project phases—from planning and OCM (Organizational Change Management) to cut-over, Go-Live, and post-implementation support.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with Systems Integrators (SI), Business Process Leads (BPL), and IT teams to ensure project milestones are achieved.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 10+ years of hands-on experience in large project management within government or large private sector organizations.
- Core Expertise: Deep functional knowledge of SAP S/4HANA MM, Logistics, and EWM. Experience with SAP Ariba and Sales and Distribution (SD) is highly preferred.
