- Job Description
- Under the authority of the National Sales Manager, Retail and Residential, the Sales Representative is responsible for the sale of our products and technical support of our retail customers down to the store level.
- Represent Sika products at the store level, building relationships with retail partners
- Ensure proper product placement and planogram compliance
- Ensure that stores display and stock our products appropriately.
- Deliver in-store training to sales associates and support customers
- Benchmark Sika products versus competition and report to National Sales Manager, Retail and Residential.
- Respond to customer complaints.
- Perform any other related tasks while respecting Sika Canada Inc.'s quality assurance procedures.
The Sales Representative's performance is evaluated according to
- Achievement of pre-established objectives both financial and personal.
- An annual performance evaluation.

- Qualifications
Education & Experience
- A degree or diploma in business or a technical field, or equivalent minimum 5 years of experience in sales, ideally within retail or construction.
Sales Expertise
- Proven success in developing and growing retail store sales territories.
Tech-Ready
- Comfortable with computers and open to learning new systems and tools.
- Experience with planograms is an asset.
Communication Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication in English
People & Problem Solving
- Excellent organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills. Able to prioritize and stay calm under pressure.
Team & Leadership
- A collaborative mindset with strong negotiation and leadership abilities.
Mobility & Hands-On Work
- Willing to travel frequently, including to remote areas. Comfortable with physical tasks like setting up booths and lifting boxes.
Prepared & Protected
- Uniform and PPE provided, following industry standards.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license.
