Well established Italian food importer and distributor is seeking a full-time sales representative in the Montreal area (our office/warehouse is in Anjou, the territory is not).

Successful candidates will have proven sales experience, preferably in the food industry.

Our customers are mainly grocery retailers (both chains and independent), delis, bakeries, cafes, restaurants and banquet halls.

Candidates need to be well-organized and self-sufficient. You will be visiting customers within your territory on a weekly, bi-weekly or monthly basis (depending on the customer's volume) (IMPORTANT: There is not a work from home option - you will need to visit your customers in person).

Our reps need to be present in their territory, working with their clients to build the business by taking orders, introducing new products and implementing promotions. Our sales representatives are also responsible to manage collections within their territory.

Ability to speak Italian is an asset.

Our office and warehouse is located in Anjou.

Position is full-time and permanent. Compensation is a combination of base pay, commission and car allowance. Commissions are paid upon collection of the payment from the customer.
