Sales Representative
🚨 Candidates without experience in the pole and traffic industry will not be accepted.
This is a new full-time Sales Representative role focused on Pole and traffic distribution within the steel and metal fabrication/sign structures industry. The role's primary goal is to expand the customer base and drive growth , while maintaining and creating new customer relationships. You will focus on offering value-driven solutions to clients in sectors such as construction, infrastructure, traffic hardware, roadway lighting, and anchoring systems. The sales territory potentially covers Canada and the US, and requires travel to the US for trade shows. The ideal candidate must be personable, reliable for periodic commutes to the Sharon office, and knowledgeable in the pole and traffic industry

Responsibilities
Develop and maintain new business within assigned territories and market segments.
Promote and sell traffic solutions including anchor, pole, bracketry, arms, and other items as requested.
Manage the entire sales cycle: prospecting, quoting, negotiation, and account management.
Understand customer specifications and work with internal engineering and production teams to deliver tailored solutions.
Collaborate with production and project managers to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
Build and maintain CRM records, sales pipeline, and weekly activity reports.
Attend trade shows, customer visits, plant tours, and industry events as required.
Commute to the Sharon office periodically (ideally once or twice a week) to see how the product is coming and to communicate with internal teams.
Travel to the US for trade shows
Qualifications
Experience in the pole and traffic industry is an absolute must-have.
3+ years of B2B sales experience in the manufacturing or industrial sector, preferably in fabricated or custom metal products (suggested).
Proven ability to identify new leads, develop relationships, and close deals.
Must be very personable to collaborate effectively with customers and internal teams.
Must have the reliability to commute to the Sharon office periodically.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Experience using CRM systems (such as SAP, which the company uses) and remote collaboration tools.
Self-motivated with the ability to manage your own territory and schedule.
Familiarity with quoting custom fabricated parts and reading technical drawings or blueprints is a plus.
Post-secondary education in Business, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field of study (asset).
