Responsibilities
-Generate accurate and complete reports to measure and document risk exposures, ensuring all submissions meet reporting guidelines.
-Analyze and monitor risk exposures to ensure they are correctly measured and aggregated according to established policies.
-Investigate and analyze the results of various business areas, completing monthly reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of risk capture.
-Propose and champion projects to improve efficiency and provide more effective business support.
-Execute infrastructure changes and ensure internal control processes are well-documented and meet governance standards.
-Liaise with various stakeholders, including traders, audit, and technology groups, to help the team meet its objectives.
-Perform ad-hoc analyses of specific metrics or transactions as requested by management.
Qualifications
Must-Haves
-2+ years of experience in a financial analyst or similar role.
-Strong knowledge of financial products and counterparty credit risk.
-Experience with complex systems and performing impact assessments, drafting requirements, and testing.
-Excellent analytical skills and a keen eye for detail.
-Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders.
-A self-starter with a high degree of initiative who can work both independently and collaboratively.
Nice-to-Haves
-Experience in a Risk Management role.
-Certifications such as CFA or FRM.
-Technical skills in Excel, SQL, VBA, or Python.
