Job Type: Contract / Project-Based Category: Building Information Modeling (BIM) Experience Level: Intermediate to Expert About the Project We’re working with an innovative audio conferencing technology company preparing to launch a new AV Consultant & Designer Program. We’re looking for an experienced Revit BIM Modeller to help us create product-specific BIM families and models representing our audio conferencing and collaboration solutions. These BIM assets will be used by architects, engineers, and AV consultants for design integration and specification purposes. Your Responsibilities - Create and manage Revit families (.RFA) and BIM models (.RVT) for our product line (e.g., microphones, soundbars, sensors, control devices). - Add intelligent parameters and metadata for easy integration in architectural, electrical, and MEP workflows. - Maintain clean, lightweight geometry optimized for performance. - Align all assets with industry standards (AIA / NBS / CSI or similar). - Collaborate with our product design and marketing teams to ensure models are visually accurate and technically correct. - (Optional) Generate 2D DWG exports or documentation sheets when required. What We’re Looking For ✅ Proven experience in Revit BIM modeling, especially with MEP, low-voltage, or AV systems. ✅ Strong knowledge of Revit family creation, parameters, and data structure. ✅ Understanding of LOD standards (200–500) and metadata conventions. ✅ Excellent attention to detail and file organization. ✅ Optional: Familiarity with AutoCAD, DWG workflows, or building product manufacturers. Deliverables - Fully functional and documented Revit families (.RFA) for each product. - Associated metadata and parameter tables. - (Optional) Supporting DWG files or technical drawings.
