Project Description: We’re looking for an artist or designer with strong knowledge of Renaissance or Roman-period art and composition to create a layout design for a mosaic floor. Project Overview: The project involves designing a mosaic layout for a U-shaped veranda that surrounds a central pool. The veranda is covered/enclosed, and its layout is not symmetrical — meaning that some sections have varying widths and lengths. Our client has selected around 20 Renaissance paintings that need to be creatively integrated into the floor design. The goal is to merge the essence of these paintings into a cohesive, balanced composition suitable for mosaic translation. What We Need: • A layout sketch or digital drawing that maps how the Renaissance artworks can be placed within the floor plan. • Creative use of borders, medallions, and panels to harmonize the irregular spaces. • Sensitivity to Renaissance visual principles — symmetry, storytelling, and proportion. • Optional: Ability to suggest complementary paintings or visual elements that fit the Renaissance theme. Requirements: • Experience with historical or classical art styles (Renaissance, Roman, Baroque). • Strong skills in composition and architectural layout drawing. • Understanding of how art translates into floor or mosaic design is a plus. • Delivery format: high-resolution digital layout (preferably layered file if done digitally).
