The Opportunity
- The Regional Director of Admissions (RDA) major purpose is to train, supervise, manage, and advise Education Consultants (ECs) to successfully drive the entire admissions process at the campus level for Instructor-led, Hybrid and Remote programs.
- Working closely with the Vice President, Admissions, The RDA will design, develop, and achieve an integrated enrollment strategy that admits and retains domestic and international students; optimizing the use of financial aid resources and coordinate the enrollment-related efforts of the campuses.
- The RDA is an important participant in the college’s student retention efforts, working closely with the Vice President, Admissions, and local Campus Directors to improve student retention.
What you'll be doing
- Hire and train Education Consultants & Manager of International Agents.
- Manage the sales quotas for the respective Education Consultant annually, quarterly, and monthly.
- Provide input into the sales forecasts annually for each campus and respective Education Consultant.
- Direct and oversee the admissions process for the campuses from point of inquiry through enrollment to start.
- Ensure consistency across all campus admission teams with respect to administering protocol for lead follow-up, interviewing, contracts, admissions paperwork, business development and outreach.
- Support the Manager of International Agents to implement International student enrollment processes through an agent network and direct recruiting.
- Evaluate and resolve student inquiries, issues and problems escalated from an admissions perspective; ensure that appropriate actions are taken to the satisfaction of the student, college, funding agency and Departments of Education.
- Employ ethical admission practices which meet all regulatory and college standards.
- Seek out creative engagement strategies and methods to attract and convert culturally diverse prospective students.
- Continually evaluate and provide feedback to the Vice President of Admissions regarding admissions testing tools to ensure they are adequate for enrolling quality students.
- In coordination with the Vice President of Admissions, consult on admissions policies and procedures and make any necessary modifications, based on analysis of processes, demographics, and other research information.
- Oversee and lead the admissions teams’ business development and outreach.
- Lead major account business development initiatives directly.
- Maintain a working knowledge of provincial Departments of Education and other funding agencies’ regulations regarding admissions.
- Analyze XCAS enrollment reports to determine effectiveness of admissions team conversions including lead contact rate, appointment to interview ratios, lead to start and termination rates.
- Provide monthly enrollment reporting and projections to the Vice President, Admissions.
- Represent Eastern College at various gatherings and conferences related to admissions throughout New Brunswick and Nova Scotia.
- Promote good relationships and create networking opportunities and support for the Education Consultant with outside institutions or groups that can be helpful in attracting quality students.
- Coordinate with Marketing on updates needed for public-facing marketing materials.

What you bring to the position
- Post-Secondary degree required.
- Minimum of two (2) years of sales management experience.
- A minimum of five (5) years of management experience.
- Demonstrated experience in meeting and exceeding sales targets and quotas.
- A reliable vehicle and valid provincial driver’s license.
- Must be able to travel to Eastern College campuses in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia.
