About Us We’re Kombat Athletes, a startup dedicated to building science-backed tools and products for combat sports athletes. Our mission is simple: help fighters and athletes train smarter, recover better, and perform at their absolute best. One of our flagship projects is Peak Plus — a mobile-first app designed to improve athletes’ reaction time, cognition under pressure, and performance tracking. Think of it as the data-driven training partner for fighters, coaches, and gyms. What We’re Looking For We need a skilled React Native developer who can help us take Peak Plus from concept to reality. You should be comfortable working independently, structuring clean/scalable code, and collaborating with a non-technical founder (me). Responsibilities Develop the MVP of Peak Plus in React Native (iOS + Android). Set up and integrate Firebase for authentication, data storage, and real-time sync. Build user roles (athletes, coaches, gyms) with role-based permissions. Implement performance tracking and logging features. Ensure scalability, clean architecture, and smooth user experience. Communicate progress clearly with milestone-based updates (not hourly). Must-Have Skills Strong experience with React Native and Firebase. Solid understanding of mobile app architecture and API integration. Experience with real-time data handling (e.g., GPS, IoT, or live logs). Proven track record of building and shipping apps (links or portfolio required). Excellent communication and documentation habits.
