- POSITION SUMMARY
- The role of Operations Project Manager directly supports the company’s mission to develop and deliver clean power plants that make 100% renewable energy a reality for the world. As an Operations Project Manager, you will be responsible for conducting and leading the execution readiness process by collecting, analyzing and shaping the operations strategies with his/her team to ensure the operations readiness and handing over to the Construction team in charge of the project for execution phase.
- WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Coordinate all the departments that are considered as primary activities in the value chain (Safety, Planning, Logistics, Material Management, Quality, Construction and Commissioning).
- Responsible for controlling and updating in a weekly basis the project execution readiness template by filling out the different task’s deadlines, progress and managing the alarms to control the deviations vs the baseline.
- Responsible for controlling and updating the weekly/monthly execution readiness KPIs dashboard.
- Responsible for performing the Execution Readiness tasks assigned to the Construction team until the site team is identified.
- The Operations PM is the link between PMEPC and Nacelles and Blades GLFs to control the readiness of the main components. This task is carried out through PCT department that is represented in the execution readiness round table.
- Offsite support to the projects in execution as needed.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
- WHAT YOU HAVE
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business or equivalent work experience
- 4+ years of equivalent work experience
- Requires familiarity with the full life cycle of power projects and business development
- Excellent written and oral communications skills with a proven track record in successful project planning
- Must possess a working understanding of cost accounting, budgeting, and contract implementation
- Excellent problem-solving/analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under limited supervision
- Knowledge of financial management
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and customers.
- Proficient in MS Office applications (i.e. excel, word)
- Ability to successfully complete all Canadian regulatory laws surrounding pre-employment screening requirements.
- Must be able to work in Canada with no Company sponsorship and have the ability to obtain a US passport.
- Ability to travel domestic and international locations to project sites and on business as required with the ability to obtain a passport.
- Driving is an essential function of the job. Must possess a full valid driver’s license and be insurable under our auto insurance policy. This position will be subject to periodic driver’s abstract checks to confirm continued insurability.

- Speak and understand English fluently to effectively communicate safety and job-related information, follow safety instructions, and collaborate with English-speaking supervisors and team members.
- The pay for this role is exempt $145,000.00 CAD- $150,000.00 CAD annually with up to a 15% bonus. Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.
