  • Job Description
  • Reporting to the Manager, Business Operations, the Project Management and Quality Consultant will support the planning, execution, and monitoring of operational and quality initiatives in Diagnostic Imaging (DI).
  • The Project Management and Quality Consultant will work closely with the DI leadership team to identify and prioritize initiatives that will support ongoing improvement efforts. Once approved, the Project Management and Quality Consultant will apply rigour to the planning and execution of initiatives, which includes, but is not limited to, the development of project documentation, investigating root causes for issues, and maintaining transparency and timelines for initiatives.
  • The Business Operations team includes Data Analysts, Project Coordinators and Project Managers and you will collaborate with these peers on complex issues. This includes working closely with clinical stakeholders and technical staff to problem solve issues in the pursuit of improving patient care and establishing Diagnostic Imaging as a leader amongst our peers. You will be involved in implementing new technologies, supporting research & QI initiatives and strategic decision making in regards to a portfolio of modalities.

Accountabilities

  • The Project Management and Quality Consultant has excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong relationship-building, facilitation, and negotiation skills and an astute ability to prioritize and complete multiple projects simultaneously
  • The Project Management and Quality Consultant contributes to the leadership of the Diagnostic Imaging department and supports a corporate continuous improvement culture resulting in enhanced quality of care, positive patient experience, and operational efficiency
  • Qualifications
  • 3-5 years working experience as a Project Manager and/or Project Consultant
  • Clinical experience working in Diagnostic Imaging (E.g. Technologist) preferred
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) active designation preferred
  • Process improvement designation (e.g. Six Sigma Black Belt) preferred
  • Demonstrated experience managing moderate to complex project portfolio using project management tools and software is required
  • Demonstrated experience in quality improvement methodologies is required
  • Demonstrated process improvement (e.g. Lean) experience strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated experience working with healthcare quality assurance guidelines, practices and legislation
  • Demonstrated experience building and delivering presentations to senior leadership, clinicians, and other key stakeholders
  • Experience leading healthcare procurement activities preferred

  • Hours: Currently Days, 8 hours, including weekends and statutory holidays (Subject to change in accordance with operating requirements)

ANNUAL SALARY

  • Minimum: $88,413.00
  • Maximum: $110,526.00
  • This Job is Hybrid: Roles that function remotely, but require essential, regular onsite weekly work.
