VGN Resources Group and Mahihkan Management (VGN-Mahihkan) is seeking a highly adaptable and tenacious Project Support Specialist to assist our Director of Event and Engagement Services in delivering high-quality, culturally respectful, and logistically sound engagement activities. This is a contractor role (not an employee position) suited to someone who thrives in dynamic environments, works well with diverse personalities, and takes ownership of getting things done.
The ideal candidate is proactive, practical, and grounded—someone who can anticipate needs, solve problems, and stay organized under pressure. You’ll be supporting complex, multi-faceted projects with a high degree of autonomy and responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and logistical support for engagement activities
- Assist with scheduling, calendar management, and deadline tracking
- Prepare documents and track data using Microsoft Word and Excel
- Maintain organized records and documentation
- Book travel and accommodations for team members and participants
- Take detailed notes during meetings and engagement sessions
- Communicate professionally with clients, vendors, and team members
- Adapt to changing priorities and pitch in wherever needed
- Support multi-faceted projects with agility and ownership
- Complete tasks with minimal supervision
