Under the guidance and supervision of the Program Manager, the incumbent is responsible for the recruitment, training and development, placement, engagement and evaluation of volunteers for the Yee Hong Centre for Geriatric Care Qualifications: Diploma in Volunteer Development, Social Service, Education, Communication, Human Resources, Business, or equivalent Experience in human services; experience working with seniors and volunteers an asset Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and problem-solving skills Proficiency in Computer applications (MS Office) and use of Social Media to recruit and attract volunteers Demonstrated ability to effectively engage and build partnerships with external organizations and internal clients, as well as existing volunteers Demonstrated initiative in supporting the volunteer program based on changing client needs.
