  • WHAT'S THE JOB?
  • Reporting to the Manager, Culinary, the Culinary Program Coordinator provides support in the administration and coordination of organizational culinary initiatives and digital recipe management systems. This role assists with the rollout of food programs, updates to menus, and the use of digital culinary platforms. The coordinator works closely with culinary, operations, marketing, and procurement teams to prepare materials, share resources, and provide support to ensure programs and tools are adopted effectively across locations.
  • What You'll Be Doing
  • Culinary Systems & Recipe Management
  • Support the ongoing management and accuracy of the organization’s digital culinary resources including recipe databases and related tools.
  • Assist with SOP updates for culinary content updates, seasonal transitions and program implementation.
  • Provide administrative and operational support for culinary platforms.
  • Menu & Program Support
  • Assist with development and maintenance of seasonal menu materials, including integration of field-submitted recipes.
  • Support menu updates across multiple service periods (e.g., breakfast, lunch, catering).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the development, organization and implementation of culinary content, including recipes, programs, and supporting materials across varied service environments.
  • Procurement & Product Support
  • Assist with aligning menus and program guides to available products.
  • Support product and data updates related to seasonal changes, availability, and culinary systems.
  • Share program needs with procurement teams to support product selection.
  • Field Training & Support
  • Assist with training and provide ongoing support to culinary teams on digital systems and tools.
  • Help respond to inquiries related to culinary content, submissions and field inquiries
  • Qualifications
  • WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
  • Culinary designation (Red Seal or equivalent) or CSNM preferred.
  • 3–4 years’ experience in culinary operations or food program support.
  • Familiarity with food cost, procurement, and digital culinary platforms.
  • Experience in remote or healthcare food service is an asset.
  • Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset.
  • Qualities
  • Proficiency with digital culinary platforms and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to maintain accuracy in recipe databases, menu templates, and program materials.
  • Understanding of food cost concepts, procurement alignment, and menu planning fundamentals.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and program updates.
  • Effective communication skills to support chefs, operations teams, marketing, and procurement partners.
  • Collaborative approach to working across functions and supporting field teams.
  • Adaptability to changing program requirements, seasonal updates, and diverse service environments.
  • Customer service orientation with a focus on providing timely, helpful responses to inquiries.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to troubleshoot system and program issues.
  • Strong time management skills to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and building knowledge in culinary systems and operations.
