Responsibilities
Lead Production Operations:
Supervise and guide production team members while serving as the primary on-floor technical expert. Ensure daily output goals, safety standards, and operational objectives are consistently met with precision and efficiency.
Ensure Quality & Product Integrity:
Drive quality assurance efforts by proactively identifying bottlenecks, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining strict manufacturing standards. Guarantee every rugged, high-accuracy, solid-state product meets performance expectations in demanding real-world conditions.
Collaborate on Continuous Improvement:
Work closely with engineering to introduce new products into production, streamline workflows, and maintain a robust, well-documented quality management system that supports ongoing improvement initiatives.
Manage Equipment & Facility Operations:
Oversee inventory, tools, and production equipment, ensuring all assets are properly maintained, calibrated, and functioning. Support facility upkeep and organization to promote a safe, efficient, and productive work environment.
Provide Hands-On Operational Support:
Assist across departments as needed—updating product firmware, creating or refining detailed work instructions, and supporting shipping, receiving, and other key production functions.
Qualifications
Practical Manufacturing & Technical Knowledge:
Over 5 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing or production settings, with strong understanding of electronics, including microcontrollers and microprocessors. Experience as an electrical or instrumentation technician—or similar light production background—is considered highly valuable.
Team Leadership & Development:
An approachable leader who promotes teamwork, accountability, and a culture focused on excellence and continuous improvement.
Analytical & Solution-Oriented:
Proven ability to diagnose production inefficiencies, resolve technical challenges, and implement process improvements that deliver measurable results.
Organized & Goal-Focused:
