Summary

Kohltech is growing and we are therefore seeking a Production Supervisor to join our dynamic team at Kohltech Windows & Entrance Systems. In this role, you will oversee the production process, ensuring efficiency and quality standards are met while contributing to our mission of delivering exceptional products to our customers. This position reports to the Dayshift Shop Foreperson.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production operations to ensure efficiency and adherence to quality standards.
• Manage production staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Train workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies.
• Monitor production schedules and adjust as necessary to meet deadlines.
• Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and optimize processes.
• Prepare production and other reports, regular reporting on KPIs.
• Collaborate with other departments to align production goals with company objectives.
• Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
• Requisition materials and supplies.
• Recommend personnel actions such as hirings, promotions and incident investigations.
• May set up machines and equipment.

Job Requirements

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment is required.
• Paint experience considered an asset.
• Strong team player who is dependable and reliable, and takes initiative.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with production processes and quality control standards is preferred.
• Organized with strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
