  • Position Summary

Performing set-ups and repairs for one of the following groups of machines

Clamps

  • Group #1: All Ingyu, Len, Die Maintenance, Bench Work.
  • Group #2: All BMS 7mm and 10mm, Flexline, and GRM.

Rings

  • Group #3: Drawbench, Proceco Washers, and Ear Forming.
  • Group #4: Drawbench, Proceco Washers, Wash/Wax Line, Deburring, and L024, LO25 Inspection Machine.
  • Essential Functions

Production Support

  • Set up equipment following proper set-up procedures.
  • Perform major repairs and adjustments.
  • Verify and maintain tooling condition and complete computer transactions.
  • Monitor tooling usage and make recommendations for min/max levels.
  • Monitor, process, and receive internal tooling requirements.
  • Perform maintenance on dies.
  • Comply with Company Policies and Procedures, including 5S, and prevent impact to the environment.
  • Maintain equipment by performing scheduled PMs.
  • Perform major conversions of press lines and repairs of mechanical equipment.
  • Knowledge of Quality Manual (Way-Point).
  • Knowledge of My Connect.
  • Maintain OPS with continuous improvements and machine boards.

Quality Inspection

  • Perform 1st article checks and measurements according to the procedures.

Manufacturing (Will be determined based on business requirements)

  • Start up, operate, and shut down machines.
  • Continuously monitor parts to ensure product quality.
  • Qualifications

Education

  • College diploma in a technical field preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of related experience in an automotive parts manufacturing environment, preferably with metal parts.

Skills

  • Strong assembly skills, attention to detail, inspection skills, and mathematical abilities.
  • Proficient reading comprehension skills and mechanical aptitude.
