• Identify production constraints and communicate them to clarify the S&OP plan
• Execute the S&OP plan from a production planning perspective
• Establish, review, and optimize MRP parameters
• Develop and maintain the main production schedule (short to medium term) for your group of plants to maximize resources, optimize inventory, and ensure quality customer service
• Identify and validate procurement/requisition needs
• Create and manage production blocks within production cycles (planned orders)
• Keep the medium- and long-term planning board up to date for your function
• Manage contingencies between plants in collaboration with the production manager
• Communicate discrepancies and propose alternative scenarios within your planning horizon
• Collaborate with the master data analyst to maintain items in the material master file under your responsibility: bill of materials, routing, and production versions
• Establish the optimal production sequence for the medium and long term

You too, put forward your strengths: 

• Bachelor’s degree in planning, supply chain, or equivalent. A combination of education and experience will be considered
• 3 to 5 years of experience in production planning (knowledge of planning and distribution operations)
• Knowledge of SAP APO (an asset), Microsoft Office, and strong computer skills
• Good priority management, responsibility, and proactivity
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and present plans to your team
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Proficiency in both French and English to communicate easily with our units and partners in Quebec, English-speaking provinces, and the United States
