The Procurement Manager (Indirect) for coffeehouse concepts, construction and facility services develops and executes sourcing strategies that support business growth, sustainability, and supplier diversity. This role manages multiple sourcing projects, builds business cases, and drives value through cost savings, innovation, and supplier partnerships. With deep category knowledge, this role identifies market trends and cost drivers, negotiates contracts, and mitigates supply chain risks. They foster supplier relationships aligned with company values and ensure operational continuity through effective risk management and strategic sourcing execution. As a Procurement Manager, you will: Shape the Business Strategic Sourcing Leadership: Develop and execute sourcing strategies for indirect categories including construction materials, FF&E (furniture, fixtures & equipment), and facility services. Align strategies with business growth objectives, stakeholder needs, and sustainability goals, including supplier diversity and ethical sourcing. Program & Project Management: Lead multiple sourcing initiatives across construction and facilities, ensuring timely execution and alignment with store development timelines. Manage cross-functional teams, track milestones, and conduct post-project reviews to drive continuous improvement. Business Case Development: Build compelling sourcing proposals that balance cost, quality, and operational impact. Consider total cost of ownership, supplier capabilities, and long-term value creation in decision-making. Drive Value Category & Spend Management: Maintain deep understanding of spend across construction and facility services categories. Identify cost drivers and market trends to inform sourcing decisions and value creation opportunities. Supplier Relationship Management: Cultivate strategic partnerships with suppliers of construction materials, maintenance services, and facility operations. Drive performance improvement, innovation, and alignment with Starbucks values. Innovation Enablement: Connect supplier capabilities with internal needs to unlock innovation in store design, sustainability, and operational efficiency. Protect Supply & Reduce Risk Contracting Excellence: Lead contract development and negotiation for construction and facility service agreements. Ensure contracts reflect business requirements, mitigate risk, and uphold legal and ethical standards. Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify and address risks related to supplier performance, capacity, financial health, and compliance. Implement strategies to ensure continuity of supply and protect brand reputation. We'd love to hear from people with: 3+ years of contracting experience 3+ years of category & spend management experience 3+ years of experience in program & project management Strong negotiation skills Ability to learn new systems and tools Strong collaboration skills Ability to be both process-oriented and flexible at the same time A resourceful mindset Compensation & Benefits The typical hiring range for this position is $95,500 - $129,990 CAD annually. Your base pay will reflect the market location and may vary based on your experience, skills, and internal equity.
