About
Our client is seeking an experienced Interim Procurement Lead to oversee and
execute the company’s procurement activities during a carve-out transition, while also
supporting asset management processes. This role will be critical in ensuring vendor
continuity, negotiating independent contracts, building foundational procurement
processes, and establishing accurate asset tracking to support our client as a standalone
entity.
The successful candidate will be hands-on, able to navigate complex contract
assignments, and comfortable working in a fast-moving, evolving environment.

Asset Management Administration
Establish and maintain an asset register to track hardware, software, equipment,
and other corporate assets.
Administer processes for recording asset acquisitions, assignments, transfers,
and disposals.
Reconcile asset register data with Finance and IT systems to ensure accuracy
and compliance.
Coordinate annual physical inventories of assets with local managers to
validate records.
Provide reporting on asset utilization, lifecycle, and compliance.

Vendor Transition & Contract Management
Co-lead (with the General Counsel) the review of existing vendor contracts to
determine assignability, renewal requirements, and renegotiation needs.
Support vendor consent and transition activities (assignment vs. new contracts)
to ensure Day 1 continuity.
Serve as primary point of contact for vendors during the carve-out, ensuring
smooth communication and alignment.
Negotiate new contracts and pricing structures where scale or scope changes
impact terms.
Procurement Operations
Establish a vendor and contract inventory database (including spend, term dates,
and owner).
Develop procurement procedures and approval workflows to ensure compliance
and cost control.
Lead the selection and implementation of a procurement system.
Coordinate with IT, HR, Finance, and Data Centre Operations to source and
secure goods and services needed to operate independently.
Support ongoing vendor performance monitoring and issue resolution.
Qualifications
Qualifications & Experience
8+ years of procurement or strategic sourcing experience, ideally in technology,
telecom, or data centre environments.
Strong track record in vendor negotiation, contract management, and
procurement process design.
Experience in M&A, carve-outs, or other transition environments is highly
desirable.
Familiarity with asset management principles and administrative processes
(registers, inventories, reconciliations).
Knowledge of IT, facilities, and corporate services vendor categories preferred.
Excellent organizational, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.
Ability to thrive in an ambiguous, fast-changing environment with competing
priorities.
