Who You Will Work With: Reporting to the Leader, Portfolio Management, this is a unique opportunity to work with the Portfolio Management team that is responsible for providing insights to the Executives to assist and support the organization in achieving the corporate strategy. This role also supports Business Units by helping them understand resource utilization and the value delivered by products, projects, and programs. The Portfolio Management team is evolving their maturity model and is looking for an individual to be part of this evolution. What You Will Do: Develop and deliver insightful reports using tools such as Tableau, Excel Pivot, Power BI pulling project and program data from Planview, to support PMO and Business Unit decision-making Assist the team in identifying operational efficiencies and developing detailed process maps with clear, step-by-step guidance to enhance workflow clarity and consistency Execute Planview configuration changes based on current business unit needs Developing or updating playbooks with new processes and reports to align with the new features and functionality of Planview, while also supporting enterprise-wide organization change management efforts to increase adoption of Planview Updating The Hub (Interac’s intranet) or the Ways of Working Share Point site. Conduct research on the Planview website to extract content on capabilities available to be considered for future releases What You Bring: Experienced in data analytics with the ability to create and generate reports using various tools such as Tableau, Excel Pivot tables or Power BI, leveraging data from Planview, the Project/Program Portfolio Management System You call yourself a critical thinker and can turn data into meaningful messages – you demonstrate a kind of thinking in which you question, analyze, interpret, evaluate. Then translate this into a story to provide a picture allowing individuals to quickly grasp the messaging you are conveying Demonstrates ability to quickly grasp concepts and procedures of new systems to effectively action and complete configurations The ability to give meaning to data. You enjoy investigating complex problems and making sense of information. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel, and Powerpoint) Considerable experience in data visualization generating reports, reviewing data, developing online tools, user guides, resources and templates You’re highly adaptable and comfortable with the unknown – you can act independently and collaborate in a team through ambiguity You are a proactive problem-solver with a demonstrated track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives – you get into new topics quickly, enjoy learning the fundamentals and leverage it to achieve the best outcomes with cross-functional teams Confidence in your ability to communicate detailed information in an impactful way with customers and stakeholders – you naturally enjoy helping, supporting and improving their experience Understanding that success is in the details. You notice things that others don't. Your critical thinking skills help to inform your decision making Although not required, you have some familiarity or previous experience with the following: Familiar with or understanding of portfolio and work management application (Planview preferrable) Experience supporting customers (internal or external) in a technology context What We’re Offering: The hourly pay range for this position is $21 to $23, and the internship term runs from May to August 2026. The exact amount will depend on factors such as skills, experience, and job-related knowledge.
