About
As a Portfolio Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of RAC’s projects and initiatives. Working within the Assurance, Integration & Change team, you’ll provide high-quality assurance, coordination, and portfolio support activities to ensure programs and projects are well-managed, compliant, and aligned to RAC’s standards. What will you be doing? Leading the development and improvement of project and portfolio management processes, including benefits, risks, issues and dependency management. Preparing high-quality Board and Executive level reports, briefs and documentation to support assurance, governance, monitoring and evaluation requirements. Overseeing Portfolio of projects, and collating data to monitor progress against deliverables. Coordinating governance forums, including agenda preparation, minute-taking and action tracking. Preparing Cost Allocation reporting to enable accurate project chargeback. Conducting project health checks, control testing and the continuous improvement of portfolio processes, tools and systems. Applying critical thinking to interpret reporting outcomes, draw meaningful insights, and foster strong stakeholder engagement in assurance and governance processes. Supporting the identification and delivery of continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen the capability and maturity of the assurance and portfolio function, enabling it to better meet partner expectations and evolving business needs. What are we looking for in you? Significant experience in portfolio coordination and stakeholder engagement across enterprise projects or initiatives. Strong capability in managing project controls, including risks, schedules and budgets. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to prepare accurate reports and governance documentation High attention to detail, strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities. Significant experience with project management tools and a sound understanding of project delivery and assurance frameworks. Relevant tertiary qualifications are desirable, with additional certifications in process improvement (Lean, Kaizen, TQM) highly regarded. Ability to adapt in dynamic environments, apply critical thinking, balance competing priorities, and build strong stakeholder relationships across the organisation. What can we offer you?
