Job Summary We need a goofy, fun, and sweet personality in a pirate's costume to help us run our children's activities at the King Richard's Renaissance festival. Weekends August 30th - October 19th, 2025 including Monday holidays, September 1st & October 13th.

Are you someone who has been to Renaissance Festivals in the past and has a curiosity about what it would be like to work at one ? Do you have costume already?! Or are you someone who always wanted to go but never did? Or do you have no idea what a renaissance festival is but being a pirate sounds fun. Wherever you are at on the subject we can train the right personality.

Responsibilities

• Come to work in a pirate's costume
• Engage, educate, and instruct children and families about the activity and how to do it properly (rules etc.)
• Bury treasure
• Congratulate kids for a good job finding treasure
• Manage less than sober and sometimes inappropriate parents with grace and kindness (do your best we understand)
• Repeat

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $140.00 - $300.00 per day

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
