Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the pharmacy operations, ensuring that patients receive their medications accurately and efficiently. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and a commitment to patient care in a hospital setting.

Duties

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications to patients.
• Maintain accurate patient records and medication inventory.
• Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and addressing concerns from patients and healthcare professionals.
• Support medication administration processes, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
• Organize and manage pharmacy supplies, including ordering and restocking as needed.
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth workflow within the pharmacy.
• Uphold cleanliness and organization within the pharmacy environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of medication administration processes and medical terminology is essential.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team.
• Certification as a Pharmacy Technician is a plus but not required.
