About

About Durable

  • Durable builds technology that makes business ownership frictionless.
  • We believe in a world where everyone is a business owner. Whether it's a full-time, part-time, or side hustle - we want to make it frictionless to start and operate a business. Over 3 million business owners have launched with Durable.
  • We are generating significant revenue, well-funded by Silicon Valley investors, and growing extremely fast. Our vision is much bigger, and we're looking for incredible people to join our team and make an impact.

About the role

  • We're hiring a Performance Growth Marketer to own paid acquisition and conversion optimization as a hands-on AI-native operator. You'll study what's working at the fastest-growing PLG and AI companies, adapt their playbooks, and run experiments at velocity across the entire funnel. This role is about execution speed, data fluency, and using AI to do the work of a 10-person team.
  • This is a hands-on role. You will build, test, and optimize everything yourself (with resources for design/eng when needed to move faster).
  • You'll work closely with our content lead to turn creative output into ad concepts, then run structured tests across channels. You'll own conversion funnel improvements and the tracking infrastructure that makes all of it measurable. You'll obsess over numbers to kill bad performers fast and understand what, when, and why certain plays are winners.
  • You'll move faster than most teams by using AI tools, and bring a bias toward testing over perfecting. When considering how to get something done you default to build it yourself > find a new tool > outsource it.
  • Our ideal candidate has scaled paid channels at an early-stage startup and is deeply fluent in the modern performance marketing stack. Ideally you've done this in PLG or AI-native companies.

What you'll do

  • Own the full funnel: paid acquisition + conversion
  • Set up, manage, and optimize all paid channels yourself
  • Own conversion paths from every GTM moment: homepage, feature pages, pricing → signup, landing pages
  • Run 1-2 weekly CRO tests on signup flows, pricing presentation, landing modules, CTAs, form fields
  • Own tracking hygiene and dashboards everyone trusts - connect spend to signups to activated users to revenue
  • Manage budget allocation based on real-time performance across the full funnel
  • Watch activation proxies and flag when paid is pulling in low-quality signups
  • Report weekly on CAC, conversion rates at every stage, and what's next
  • Amplify product launches and new features
  • Take product releases, new features, and content assets and turn them into demand
  • Build ad variants, retargeting campaigns, and conversion-optimized landing pages for every launch
  • Partner with product marketing to ensure launches translate into scalable paid and conversion plays
  • Move fast with AI
  • Use AI tools to generate ad variations, landing page copy, and test ideas faster (we will ask for examples of what you've built yourself)
  • Automate reporting and analysis
  • Stay ahead of how AI-native companies are doing performance marketing

What you'll bring

  • You’re numbers obsessed
  • You've run paid acquisition at a high-growth startup or fast-moving environment (personally managing campaigns across multiple channels)
  • You're analytical: you understand CAC, LTV, conversion rates, attribution models, and payback periods
  • You've run landing page and conversion tests, not just ad tests
  • You're scrappy: you ship experiments weekly and kill bad ideas fast
  • You're fluent in modern analytics tools (PostHog, GA4, etc.)
  • You are AI-native well beyond ChatGPT - you're building systems and workflows, not generating docs in chat
  • You've worked in PLG or product-led companies where marketing and product blur together
  • You've scaled channels from $10K/month to $100K+/month
  • Bonus: you have started a business or side gig and want to do it again
  • Who we want to work with
  • High agency: you deliver results even when the path forward isn’t clearly defined
  • Energizing: you elevate the team’s speed, performance, and morale
  • Ambitious: you continuously raise the bar
  • Obsessive: you dig deep into the weeds of your craft
  • AI-native: you build systems over doing tasks, and are ahead of the mainstream usage
  • Team player: you lift up others around you
  • Success in this role looks like
  • Paid channels are profitable and scaling month over month
  • CAC is trending down, conversion rates trending up
  • You're running 3-5 tests per week across creative and landing pages
  • Clear frameworks exist for what creative works and why
  • Marketing spend is connected to revenue in dashboards everyone can see
  • Why join us?
