Responsibilities
Full-Cycle Recruitment Management: Manage the entire candidate pipeline and hiring process, focusing on securing talent for both manufacturing and corporate roles.
Culture & Engagement Leadership: Actively plan and execute wellness and engagement activities, championing the core cultural traits (Genuine, Resourceful, Connected).
Trusted ER Point of Contact: Serve as the confidential first contact for all employee inquiries, escalating trends to strategic departmental needs.
HRIS and Data Integrity: Ensure accuracy of all HRIS data and employee files, providing essential metrics for compliance and business reporting. Compliance and Risk Mitigation: Enforce company policies and employment standards, with a specific focus on administering Health & Safety in the factory.
New Hire Integration: Lead the onboarding process to ensure all new hires are rapidly compliant and successfully integrated into the Chudleigh's work environment.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
Post-secondary education preferably in Human Resources Management, Industrial Relations or Business Management
2-5 years of work-related experience preferably in a manufacturing environment
Previous recruitment experience in a fast-paced environment
Previous Health and Safety exposure is an asset
Qualifications:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills; customer service oriented
Organizational skills, detail orientation, flexibility and learning agility
Ability to handle multiple priorities and solve inquiries and issues expeditiously and efficiently
Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office, Online career sites)
Summary
The People and Culture Generalist provides comprehensive support across multiple HR functions, ensuring the smooth delivery of People and Culture programs and services. This role balances day-to-day operational support with strategic partnership, contributing to key areas such as recruitment, onboarding, training and development, employee engagement, and HR compliance. The People and Culture Generalist builds strong relationships, supports employees and leaders, and champions our workplace culture and core values.
