About
- Be a Catalyst for Change - Join Our Team as a People and Culture Advisor!
- Location: This is a remote role with occasional travel to client locations so you should be within a short driving distance to Victoria or Vancouver.
- Are you an up-and-coming HR professional who’s ready to take the next big step in your career? Do you get excited about learning, collaborating, and making a real impact in workplaces across Canada? If so — you might be exactly who we’re looking for!
- At Engaged, we’re not your average HR team. We’re an award-winning consulting that helps organizations build strong, people-first cultures. As our new People & Culture Advisor, you’ll get hands-on experience in all areas of HR — from recruitment and employee relations to policy development, engagement strategies, and beyond.
- This is an incredible opportunity to learn, grow, and do meaningful work alongside some of the most supportive and experienced HR professionals you’ll ever meet. You’ll collaborate closely with clients from all kinds of industries — not-for-profit, public, and private — and you’ll quickly build confidence managing real-world HR projects that make a difference.
What you’ll do
- Support clients with their day-to-day HR needs — everything from employee questions to policy updates.
- Jump in on HR projects and initiatives, helping bring them to life with creativity and organization.
- Learn the ropes of consulting — balancing relationships, deadlines, and priorities like a pro.
- Use your tech skills to keep things running smoothly through tools like HRIS and ATS systems.
- Be part of a collaborative, fun-loving team that believes HR should be both professional and enjoyable.
What you’ll bring
- A post-secondary degree (preferably in HR, business, or a related field).
- 3 or more years of HR experience — or a mix of HR internships, co-ops, and early career roles that show your passion for the field.
- Curiosity, initiative, and a genuine desire to learn.
- Great communication skills and a talent for building trust and connection.
- Comfort with technology (HRIS or ATS experience is a plus!).
- Working toward your CPHR designation or planning to start soon.
- A good sense of humour — because we take our work seriously, but not ourselves.
