Well established family dental practice in Port Colborne is seeking a part time dental assistant. Two to three a week to start including Thursdays

Duties

• Chairside assist the dentist during examinations and procedures
• Perform sterilization duties and assist hygiene department when working as a floater.
• Prepare and maintain dental instruments, equipment, and materials for various procedures.
• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as required.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
• Manage patient records using Abeldent software systems.
• Support front office staff with administrative tasks when needed.

Experience

• Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred,
• Harp, IPAC certified.
