  • Position Overview
  • We require a full-time, permanent Overnight Laundry Operations Lead, who will oversee all aspects of overnight laundry operations, ensuring efficient workflow, quality standards, and safety protocols are maintained. This role provides leadership, guidance, and support to the overnight team, coordinates logistics, and acts as the primary point of contact for operational issues during the night shift.
  • Salary: $22.00 per hour
  • Shifts: Full-Time, Permanent, overnight 8 hour shifts, weekend availability
  • Anticipated Start: Early November 2025

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise the overnight laundry team, including Supervisors and Attendants.
  • Wash, dry, fold, and package linens according to Basecamp standards.
  • Oversee the washing, drying, folding, and distribution of linens to hotel clients, ensuring Basecamp standards are met.
  • Monitor inventory levels, coordinate deliveries, and manage logistics for multiple properties.
  • Ensure all equipment is operating safely and efficiently; report mechanical issues promptly.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including laundry room and delivery vehicles.
  • Address and resolve operational issues, including staffing, workflow, and quality concerns.
  • Communicate with day shift management regarding overnight activities, issues, and inventory needs.
  • Train new overnight staff and provide ongoing coaching and support.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and chemical handling protocols.
  • Assist with driving linens to and from hotel properties as needed.
  • Requirements
  • Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a team with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid Canadian Driver’s License and clean driver’s abstract.
  • Proficient in English; additional languages an asset.
  • Ability to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.
