• Sentinel Dock & Door Solutions is a leading Canadian provider of commercial dock and door services. Established in 2024 by Trivest Partners, Sentinel was formed through the acquisition of top regional service providers: Lenworth Building Services, Pro Door & Dock Systems, Mar-Lin Dock & Door, Door Doctor, and Secord Doors. Together, we specialize in the installation, repair, and maintenance of overhead doors, dock levelers, and related equipment for commercial and industrial facilities.
• Mar-Lin Dock & Door is on the hunt for a Lead Hand, Service Technician—skilled, dedicated individuals ready to join our growing team.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair overhead doors, loading docks, and related equipment
• Perform on‑site welding and fabrication as required to support installation and repair work
• Complete work orders, inspection sheets, and capture site photos for documentation
• Maintain service equipment and ensure all tools are in safe, working condition
• Adhere to safety regulations and deliver exceptional customer service on every job
• Coordinate and assist team members on complex installations and repairs
• Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams to ensure timely project completion
• Oversee and mentor Service Technician Apprentices, providing guidance and support

What we're looking for

• 2+ years of lead hand, loading docks and commercial overhead doors experience
• Proven welding experience
• Clean, valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Strong mechanical aptitude and confidence using hand and power tools
• Comfortable working at heights
• Positive attitude and a team-first mindset
