About

Education: College/CEGEP. Work site environment: Personal and social adjustment and health (substance abuse, gambling, behaviour disorders). Socio-economic needs or conditions (housing, nutrition, unemployment, financial assistance). Services for the homeless. Work setting: Associations and non profit organizations. Tasks: Housekeeping activities. Food preparation. Provide suicide and crisis intervention. Resolve conflict situations. Liaise with other social services agencies and health care providers involved with clients. Assist clients/guests with special needs. Accompany clients to appointments and social outings. Manage knowledge. Offer mentoring. Administer first-aid and other assistance. Food safety/handling skills. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST). Mental health first aid Certificate. Non-violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) Certificate. Cultural Awareness Training. First Aid Certificate. CPR Certificate. Food Safety Certificate. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Driver's abstract.
