Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership to the operations team, cultivating a high-performance, quality-focused culture of continuous process improvement.
- Oversee the complete end-to-end production and manufacturing cycle, strictly adhering to high-quality standards and effective cost management.
- Develop and implement strategies for optimizing the supply chain, which includes sourcing, inventory control, and nurturing strong vendor relationships.
- Establish and strictly enforce rigorous quality assurance protocols to guarantee maximum performance and reliability across all company systems.
- Manage the operational budget and lead resource planning initiatives to ensure optimal staffing and equipment levels meet demanding production schedules.
- Proactively identify potential operational risks, such as supply chain interruptions or production delays, and formulate effective mitigation strategies.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of operational leadership experience within the robotics, automation, manufacturing, or a similar technology design/build sector.
- Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a relevant field; an MBA or advanced degree is considered a strong asset.
- Demonstrated knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management standards is required, with experience in ISO 13485 highly preferred.
- Expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or comparable process optimization methodologies.
- Proven ability to successfully manage project teams and projects using tools like Jira, Arena PLM, and Scrum methodology, including accurate job costing.
- Strong technical understanding of robotics production, supply chain dynamics, and manufacturing systems.
