• Are you passionate about the maritime industry and operating heavy machinery? Are you known for operating a wheel loader with forks and being meticulous? This Wheel Loader Operator position is made for you.
• Logistec, a growing company, is currently looking for two new members to join its team in Trois-Rivières. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for loading and unloading steel product cargo and stacking it at the terminal.

• Responsibilities

What your days look like as a Wheel Loader Operator

Operating a wheel loader equipped with forks to

• Unload trucks and perform stacking;
• Take cargo from the stacks and load it onto trucks;
• Occasionally operate a forklift as a replacement for the loader;
• Always adhere to health and safety principles;
• Perform necessary manual labor as required;
• The work is primarily scheduled during the day, but may occasionally require overtime in the evening or on weekends.

• Qualifications

To succeed as a Wheel Loader Operator, you must have

• A minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience as a wheel loader operator
• Experience with forks (an asset)
• An operator certification (an asset)
• Forklift operation experience is an asset
• Good manual dexterity
• A valid driver’s license
