OldTribes is a small business in Edmonton, AB T6K 4B5. Founded in 2005 in Alberta, Canada, OldTribes is a family-owned business that specializes in high-quality handmade clothing made from ethically-sourced alpaca wool. Our business was started by Kichwa indigenous artisans who wanted to share their craft with the world, and we have since grown to become a beloved brand among Canadians and customers worldwide.

As a online sales associate you will be expected to handle,

• Shipments of products
• Stocking
• Maintenance of warehouse
• Updating inventory
• Online customer services (returns and refunds)

The store we have is also open for retail for customers wanting to shop for items in person, this will require knowledge of operating a cashier and having some experience in customer service.

You will be playing a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive customer shopping experience for our valued customers. We often have wholesale clients who are expected to be greeted in manner that is inviting to become a long term partner with us.

Responsibilities:

Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding the products they need. Operate cash registers and process transactions accurately and efficiently. Maintain a clean and organized check out area. Ensure store floor is clean and upheld. Answer customer inquiries and provide product information. Assist in restocking merchandise and maintain visual standards. Actively promote and upsell products to enhance the customer experience both in person and online. Ship and receive products.

Requirements:

Previous experience as a cashier or in a customer service role, preferably in a retail environment. Excellent interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in cash handling. Basic math skills and ability to operate cash registers. Knowledge of fashion trends and passion for the clothing industry is a plus. Ability to commute to work. Basic Microsoft word knowledge.

Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 4 months

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
