e-mediate is currently seeking enthusiastic and customer-centric individuals to join our team as Online Customer Service Representatives. This is an excellent opportunity to work from the comfort of your own home and be an integral part of a company dedicated to delivering exceptional customer experiences. We are looking to hire for a position on the West Coast of Canada, a position on the East Coast of Canada, and another position in Europe.

Schedule:

  • 8 hour work days (exclusive of minimum 30 minute unpaid break)
  • 5 days a week, Saturday and Sunday will be 2 of the working days
  • Work day hours will depend on job location (training hours will differ)

Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via various online channels (chat, email, social media) with a customer-first approach.
  • Provide accurate and detailed information about our products/services, policies, and procedures.
  • Assist customers with troubleshooting, order placement, returns, and other inquiries.
  • Handle and resolve customer complaints or concerns in a calm and efficient manner.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely resolution of customer issues and follow-up when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a customer service or related role is preferred, but not required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (French or other languages are a bonus)
  • Strong understanding of audio equipment, sound systems, and amplification technology.
  • Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
  • Typing skills of over 60 words per minute (wpm).
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in using online communication tools and platforms.
  • Strong empathy and patience when dealing with customer inquiries or complaints.
  • A quiet and distraction-free home office setup.
  • High-speed internet connection and a reliable computer.
