Temporary position for 12 months. As a defensive security analyst, you help identify, analyze, eradicate and mitigate threats to Desjardins's systems, networks and applications. You analyze security incidents and determine their scope, impact and origin. You collect data from a variety of defence tools. You perform ongoing monitoring and interpret, analyze and report all events and anomalies in accordance with guidelines. You carry out risk assessments and tests to analyze vulnerabilities and you develop and recommend appropriate mitigation measures to strengthen Desjardins's security posture. You analyze issues and situations related to resolving security events, detecting vulnerabilities, and protecting systems and networks. You participate in diagnostic activities, provide opinions following your discipline's rules and help develop recommendations and implementation plans to back up, restore and secure systems. You develop tools, methods and processes. Your projects and initiatives require comprehensive knowledge of your field of expertise. You share ideas and solve problems using your analytical skills and comprehensive knowledge of your field. You draw on your ability to manage complexity and interact with stakeholders in other technology fields. You provide discipline-specific support to your unit, assigned clients and partners. More specifically, you will be required to: Identify, input, analyze and interpret data to support operations planning and vulnerability management, and monitor the application of management policies and practices. Make recommendations. Analyze risks. Write reports and make recommendations. Provide advice on how to implement recommendations. Help prepare and propose action plans to address issues in accordance with generally recognized rules and parameters. Ensure action plans are implemented in accordance with corporate security standards and rules. Develop and write methods, processes and reports and ensure data is accurate.
