- Constant monitoring and replying to e-mails in the import’s and personal work mailboxes.
- Ensuring appropriate margins are met on shipments.
- Ensuring vendor compliance with service standards
- Maintaining and fostering vendor and client relationships.
- Timely actioning vendor and client requests.
- Cross Train on exports in order to cover when necessary

Qualifications
Minimum of 3+ years of Ocean Import Experience
- Experience handling complex cargo-Dangerous Goods, ITAR, Project Cargo
- Dangerous Goods training Certification-IATA and IMDG strongly preferred
- Experience with Descartes preferred
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to keep up with fast paced changes in the international logistics environment
