Clean the crops. Consider water saturation, light and temperature when planning for germination. Cut horticultural crops. Divide fresh harvested produce into marketable lots and non-marketable lots. Greenhouse cleaning. Level earth to fine grade specifications. Mixing fertilizer. Operate climate controls. Seed cutting. Tie and secure plants. Weeding. Spray or dust plants with insecticides and fungicides. Assist in pruning trees, shrubs and plants. Mix and prepare soils. Plant bulbs and seeds. Pot and re-pot plants. Transplant seedlings or rooted cuttings. Apply fertilizers. Report signs of insect or disease damage. Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens. Clean work area.
