• Job Description: The Primary Care Nurse, AAP provides nursing services to clients in communities without hospitals or resident physicians but where physicians work within agreements with the employer to provide medical services on a regular, visiting basis. The RN, AAP provides a broad range of health care services for the client and the community. The RN, AAP is responsible for the overall leadership of nursing services.

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
• Licenses
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certificate (ACLS)
• Valid Class 5 driver's license
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certificate (PALS)
• International Trauma Life Support Advanced Certificate (ITLS)
• Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
• Knowledge and Abilities
• Ability to adapt to changing conditions
• Ability to communicate with and deal effectively with clients and their families
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
• Ability to engage in community program consultation.
• Knowledge of diverse health issues, culture and traditions
