• Job Description: Under the direction of a Program Manager and working within an interdisciplinary mental health and addiction team, the Community Mental Health Nurse will provide a range of clinical services to a population of acute and persistent mental health disordered children, youth and their families. The Community Mental Health Nurse will use clinical knowledge and interpersonal skills in all aspects of professional practice pertinent to the Psychiatric Nursing Discipline. The incumbent will provide clinical nursing skills in the development and maintenance of community mental health treatment programs, and adhere to nursing practice standards.

• Education
• Graduation from a recognized school of psychiatric nursing or graduation from a school of general nursing supplemented by postgraduate training in psychiatric nursing. Current registration with College of Registered Psychiatric Nursing of Saskatchewan (CRPNS).
• Experience
• Requires a minimum of two years (postgraduate) recent recognized experience in a community mental health setting working with children, youth and families presenting with
• acute and chronic mental health problems.
