- We are currently seeking a Network System Administrator to join our IT Operations team. Reporting to the Director of IT Operations, this role is responsible for maintaining, securing, and optimizing the organization’s network and systems infrastructure to support business-critical operations.
- This position is currently open and reflects a new position created to support organizational growth.
- The salary range for this position is $80,000 – $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience, education, and internal equity. This range is provided to ensure clarity and promote equitable access to employment opportunities.
- Responsibilities
When your actions lead to success
- Maintain and optimize network infrastructure to ensure secure, reliable, and high-availability connectivity
- Configure and support network components including VLANs, trunks, switches, and CLI-based network devices
- Administer and support IP surveillance systems (Milestone XProtect or equivalent)
- Manage Wyse Management System and thin client environments
- Deploy, configure, and support workstations and laptops using PXE imaging, SCCM, and Microsoft Intune
- Troubleshoot issues related to workstations, Office 365 applications, printing systems, and network connectivity
- Maintain Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP environments
- Administer VMware environments using vCenter, including VM provisioning, snapshots, and vSAN configurations
- Ensure compliance with corporate IT standards, including monthly Microsoft security patching
- Support IP phone configuration and deployment
- Monitor network performance and recommend improvements
- Provide basic troubleshooting support for Mac computers
- Maintain accurate technical documentation
- Qualifications

- Education & Experience
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 3–5 years of experience in network or systems administration
- Experience in manufacturing or multi-site environments is an asset
- Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of VLANs, switching, DHCP, DNS, and Active Directory
- Experience with VMware, Windows Server, Office 365, and SharePoint
- Familiarity with IP surveillance systems, thin clients, and IP telephony
- Understanding of network security principles and best practices
- Certifications (Asset)
- CompTIA Network+ or Security+
- Microsoft certifications
- Cisco CCNA or equivalent
- Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Clear communication and documentation skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Language Requirements
- English required (reading, writing, and verbal communication)
- French is an asset
