Hi, I’m totally new to video editing and recently created a YouTube channel, with one video so far. My focus is on teaching various parts of entrepreneurship, with occasional travel and other personal content. I’m looking for some help in creating educational-style videos. I don’t know what the correct term is, but basically I want to have different “layouts” throughout the video - for example a side-by-side tutorial where half the screen is some text or a screenshot, and the other half of the screen is my face. Something similar to these videos: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6EP6Iv4qffs https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p__XUOysH38 I really feel like these different layouts should be a standard thing within most video editors, but I’m not sure how to achieve that? I really want to use Davinci Resolve because it’s free and looks extremely powerful, but I can’t figure out how to make these - would love some guidance!
