Role: Flutter iOS Engineer (Bug-Fixer, Beta Lead & Support Owner) IDEALLY FROM: CANADA OR UNITED STATES Context: Dhikr Share is already built in Flutter and shipped for iPhone on Testflight (it's in beta testing mode). We need a sharp, fast individual (not a team) who can help us find/triage bugs, fix them within 24–48 hours, run a structured beta, and be the primary support contact. Potential path to full-time. About Dhikr Share (what the app actually does): The app combines Dhikr tracking, community encouragement, and reflective journaling to make dhikr a shared and sustainable part of everyday life, all within a clean, privacy-first experience built for iPhone users. What You’ll Do - Hunt & fix bugs fast: Reproduce, diagnose, and patch UI/logic/perf issues on iOS (Flutter). SLA: 24–48h; same-day for criticals. - Beta program lead: Collect multi-user feedback, dedupe, prioritize (P0–P3), and own resolution. - Support owner: Be the single inbox for support @ dhikrshare com; reply same workday, escalate/ship fixes. - Quality gate: Write/maintain test cases, smoke tests on target devices, and verify before release. - Release management: Prep TestFlight builds, changelogs, and App Store submissions when needed. - Documentation: Keep a live issues spreadsheet (status, owner, ETA, build #, user confirmation). Must-Haves - Flutter for iOS: 3+ years building/shipping Flutter apps; strong iOS build/signing/TestFlight know-how. - Experience building iPhone apps using Swift or React Native in addition to Flutter. - Social app experience: You’ve shipped or tested social/community features (feeds, follows, reactions, realtime). - Faith-app context: Worked on a Muslim/Quran/dua/dhikr app or can demonstrate fluency with these workflows. - Rigor in QA: Able to test rigorously, reproduce edge cases, and verify fixes to ensure issues never reappear. - Responsiveness: You actually meet SLAs (critical same-day; others 24–48h). - Organization & timeliness: Extremely organized in tracking bugs, deadlines, and user feedback — delivers on time without follow-ups. - Communication: Clear, concise Slack updates; tight commit messages and PRs. Nice-to-Have - App Store Connect & review process expertise. - Voice/recitation input, background tasks, or notifications edge cases. - Performance profiling on iOS (jank, memory, cold start). How We’ll Work (tight loop) - Intake: Support inbox + beta spreadsheet (template provided). - Triage: Tag P0–P3, estimate, assign, set ETA. - Fix & verify: Repro steps → fix → unit/integration test → device smoke test. - Ship: TestFlight build with changelog; notify affected users; confirm closure in the sheet.
